le sigh
So Brandon was sick on Sunday... Then it hit me yesterday. I felt bleh all through work, then the poops started when I got home around 1:30. Vomming at 6. =\ Man it was fun times. Only vommed 3 times... I've been poopin' the whole time though. Yey Gatorade and Pepto. My tummy still hurts a lot. Didn't go to class last night, missed work today, and probably will miss class tonight.

William Petersen
As I get older, I find my attraction for older men growing stronger. I've recently been introduced to the show CSI by happening to get a flat tire. Went to Merchant's, they had crappy satellite TV with not many channels, and stumbled across CSI. I was hooked. They fixed my tire quick, so I ran home to finish the episode. I've learned the original CSI is awesome, CSI: NY is cool too, and CSI: Miami sucks my large, non-exsistant balls.
The original has a guy named Gil Grissom, played by William Petersen... He's my new TV crush.
It's so bad that I've been watching it for weeks... And I don't know any of the other character's names. ha!

Too bad he's older than my mom...

Well then.
Seemed I was confused as to how the permissions worked for this thing... I had it set to only allowing authors to read it, but no one could! Now it's back on everyone reading it. Yey.
wheat wrap, egg beaters, cream cheese, onions, cucumber, and spicy mustard.
This wonderful concoction of yumminess... With the sensations of crunch and goo. So many flavors! Creamy, salty, pungant... I've had you every morning this week! I think I've been too saturated with your flavor. I've been spoiled with your goodness! What, oh what will I do when I can't have you on sunday? So good, and so good for me... I'll miss you on the day following tomorrow... I'll miss you.
HAHA!! I just posted this and looked at my blog... And directly beside it? My emo pic! Oh... It's too easy to amuse myself.

Caffiened
So here was my last paper for english class, including the picture:

It was a very eerie night; It was dark and the wind was howling. No one was outside. All the houses around had their lights off. No cars were moving down the streets.
”What the …?” I thought to myself as I got up off the floor. “Where am I?” I was groggy and cold. I had no idea how I had gotten myself to this unknown location. I hadn’t been partying, nor do I remember driving myself anywhere. At this point, I was very frightened.
I heard someone respond to my thoughts, “Hello? Anyone here?”
“Jeseca? Is that you?”
“Uh, yeah… Melanie?”
Since both of us were smokers, we pulled out our lighters. We looked around at our surroundings, and heard the wind whistle through the doors.
“What are we doing at work?” She asked.
“I wish I had an answer to that,” I responded.
The coffee shop was a creepy place on its own with the old machines rattling and our shopping center ghost playing tricks. Winding up there with no reason as to why made it seem that much creepier.
We walked to the back door. It was jammed. We couldn’t get the handle to budge, no matter how hard we tried. As this point we were freaking out.
“Ok, so what do we do if we get to the front of the store and can’t get that door to open either?” I asked.
Jeseca shuddered and walked off toward the front. I started to follow after a few seconds, then I heard something and gasped. Jeseca must have heard it too since she stopped dead in her tracks almost as fast as I had gasped. It was a kind of moaning noise. We slowly walked behind the counter to see where it was coming from.
We got into the kitchen to see our co-worker, Tabitha, curled up on the floor bleeding from somewhere. She was lying in a pool of blood, and even in the dark we could see that she was as pale as a ghost.
“Get out of here,” we heard Tabitha struggle to get out of her mouth.
Jeseca and I started to back away slowly. Further down the hall I could see glowing eyes. I panicked and ran out of the kitchen. I could hear a snarling sound coming from the beast with the glowing eyes.
I ducked under a table and sat quiet for a few moments. The snarling got closer and closer. I saw Jeseca across the room under another table. When the beast came out to where we could see it, we came to the realization that the beast was our boss, Julie. We always knew she was some kind of devil-woman… But a zombieish-devil-woman? Who knew?
I figured that poor Tabitha had succumbed to the wrath of Julie’s hunger for human flesh. Why after two years of being our boss is she just now trying to kill us? Jeseca must have had the same question.
I got up, realizing that her Rheumatoid Arthritis would leave her slow and almost harmless. I peeked into the kitchen. It seemed that she was uninterested in what Jeseca and I were doing, and had gone back to eating Tabitha. She must have died right after telling us to get out because she was more motionless now than when we saw her before. She didn’t make a sound even when Monster-Julie sunk her teeth into her.
Jeseca and I tip-toed our way to the back of the store to think of a plan.
“Ok, so even if that door’s unlocked up front and we get to our cars… We’ll still have to come back to the store tomorrow to work, and there will still be a Zombie-Julie and a dead Tabitha,” I said to Jeseca.
“Yeah, I guess we’re going to have to kill her, call the cops, and hope that they don’t think we’re insane for having two dead people in here on a weird, creepy, night,” she replied.
“I think we’re going to have to take our chances with being crazy. It’s either be crazy, or be Julie’s next meal. I’d rather not be a meal! What can we use for weapons? She’s awfully close to the lunch-line to grab the knives…” I said.
“Well, we better think of something fast. Little Tabitha in there wouldn’t make much of a meal for anyone,” Jeseca replied.
Knowing there wouldn’t be much time before Tabitha’s little hundred pound body would be devoured, I thought of a quick plan.
“We could always lure her out of the kitchen, blow the pilot lights out in the top of the stove, hope the store fills with gas, sneak out of the front, and hope one of the fridges turns on at the perfect time for the store to blow up!” I said, much too excited.
She replied, “First of all, you’ve seen Fight Club waaay too many times… Second of all, we still don’t know if we can get out of the front door! We’ve only got one try to get out of the door since the alarm beeps every time we open it. She’d hear it and come at us for sure.”
“Alright, genius, your turn,” I said.
In the kitchen I heard that the chewing had stopped. Julie’s extra stiff body was slowly shuffling through to the back. I hid behind the couch and saw Jeseca walk to the very back. Then I heard the bathroom door open.
I thought to myself, “Great, she’s going to lock herself in the bathroom and then I’ll be stuck with the Zombie-Boss from Hell.”
I didn’t hear the door close until Julie had slowly walked past me. All of the sudden I heard banging on the door. I thought the worst for a moment until I heard Jeseca cackling, her voice on the outside of the door.
“What?” I yelled. “Did you lock her in the bathroom? Brilliant!”
Jeseca replied, “Well, she’s such a cripple, I figure she won’t be able to bust through, or scale the wall to the ceiling.”
“Yeah, good point. You hold her in there, and I’ll go get the phone,” I said.
I walked through the very creepy shop to the office and grabbed the phone. I figured with all the other creepy events and knowing the luck that goes on with that, the phone would be dead. Luck was in my favor that night, though. I turned it on and dialed 911.
“911, what is your emergency?” I heard the lady on the line say.
I replied, “Well, I don’t know if you’re going to believe me, but there’s a monster… And a murder.”
She didn’t seem very thrilled until I mentioned the murder.
“Ok… Is this 5039 Falls of Neuse?” She asked.
“Yes it is… How long until someone gets here? We have the monster locked in the bathroom. We don’t know if we can get the front door to the store open, though.”
“Right… So the murder…”
I responded, “Yes, the murder. It’s my co-worker, Tabitha. The monster ate her. I don’t know how much of her is left.
I heard a sigh on the other line, and I felt that she was almost ready to hang up on me.
“Please send us some help!”
“Alright, I’ve informed the police and they’re on their way.”
I got to the back and saw that the faithful Jeseca was still holding our Monster-Boss in the bathroom. I got one of the tables to hold the door shut. We got away from the door enough to keep an eye on it, but to also keep a safe distance.
“So how did the 911 call go… Did they think you were crazy?” Jeseca asked.
“Well, of course, they thought I was crazy. I said monster… Then murder… Then monster caused murder. I had her attention on murder until I mentioned monster again…”
Jeseca just laughed at me. A few minutes of silence passed, then we heard the front door shake. Then we heard the front door shatter.
“Hello? Any one in here?” We heard a male voice call from the front.
“We’re back here,” Jeseca and I both yelled.
The man came marching to the back with a flashlight on, and introduced himself as Officer Johnson. He then wanted us to show him where the body was. We politely told him that the body would still be there and we wanted to show him the monster. He saw the jammed door and walked over to knock on it. Behind the door came the horrible snarling sound.
He moved the table and slowly opened the door. He saw the orange glowing eyes and slammed the door.
“Ok, now I think I’m going to the loony bin with you guys. Is that really a zombie in there?”
We nodded our heads, “Yes.”
Officer Johnson pulled out his radio. He called back to the police station, “You’re not going to believe this, there really is a monster in here.”
The radio response was, “Ok… Um… Kill it I guess.”
He turned his flashlight toward the door and slowly opened it again. We finally got to see how horrible our boss looked as an actual monster.
She winced away from the light. Her face and clothes were covered in blood. She was a weird pale blue-green color. Her nails seemed to have grown two inches.
Without hesitation, Officer Johnson pulled out his pistol and shot her in the head. Julie fell into a pile of gross, decayed, mess.
We all looked at each other and were very confused. I said, “Well I guess I’ll take you to Tabitha now. She’s up there in the kitchen.”
Officer Johnson led the way like he knew where he was going. We followed slowly behind him. We could already smell the decay of her body. I covered my face with the top of my shirt. He saw her around the corner, and jump back in horror, “Holy cow, that monster really did a number on this poor girl’s body.”
At this point I didn’t want to see what had happened to her after the first time I saw her.
Officer Johnson called on his radio again, “I think I’m going to need two ambulances…”
After a while, I heard them squealing down the street. I jumped up out of bed a little discombobulated. I took a couple deep breaths and said aloud, “Holy crap… Jeseca was right… NEVER eat garlic before bed. What a weird dream!”
The version before this I got a 92 on because of a couple over-looked puncuation problems, and a bunch of tense problems. I had a lot of fun with this one. Wrote it in about an hour. Sha-wing! For any of you who know the people in the story, it makes it that much better.

Insomnia
I'm sure people are going to get tired of me using this thing pretty quick. I'll get over it soon enough, I'm sure. It's just fun having a new toy to play with... New possible readers... Maybe stalkers that will fall in love with me from my writing =P
Man, I MUST be tired. Maybe I shouldn't have had that green tea during class.
It's very weird that I'm so very tired in the morning, and can't sleep at night. Aren't those the symptoms of insomnia? Bleh. I'm soooo trying not to eat as much or snack... It's easier to do when sleeping =P That's ok though... There isn't any food in the house. Unless I wanna do peanut butter spoon again. Mmmm, I love peanut butter.
It's officially been 3 days since I quit smoking. My last one was around midnight on Sunday. Whoo! I woke up Monday feeling like ASS... So I didn't have one. That's all I needed. My theory is... I went over a year without smoking.
But I lived with 2 people that smoked in the apartment. I think living with them mixed with hanging out with smoking co-workers all day kept me addicted... Then moving into my own non-smoking apartment left me craving cigarettes. One day before class I bought a pack of cloves ::sigh:: The death-stick that got me hooked in the first place. Oh well. I'm done again. =)
Living in a non-smoking apartment, and I haven't been going outside with the smokers. Whoo!
Went for a walk today. It was awesome. I think I'll try again tomorrow... Which reminds me... I don't go into work until 10 tomorrow. Bleh. Nevermind. I must get up early and shower. Wee!!

Class
So I'm in class right now. I can't pay attention to this guy. The last time I had him it was a work at your own pace class... So when he talked, I was able to tune him out. Suuucks. I'm in my networking class. Weee! He's going page by page and telling us what's on it... Highlighting some parts and incouraging us to read the chapters ourselves. Yeah, teaching!! We're on our 3rd break already, including a 10 minute, 30 minute, and a 15 minute break. Whoopdy doo!
I'm hoping to be able to get out of here within the hour. On our 30 mintue break, I went home to see Brandon and ate the rest of my chinese food left over from last night. Man was it good! It was a bourbon chicken with a side of chicken lomein. I have discovered that you can get the lomein instead of a side of rice. ::drool:: It's my new friend.
So my kitty is doing well. Rudy got fixed on Monday. He was very sleepy when I picked him up and brought him home. He was home by 4:30, I had to leave for class a little after 5... Got home around 9:30, and he hadn't moved. He didn't move between then and a little after midnight when I went to bed... He was, however, infront of my bedroom door as usual when I woke up Tuesday morning.
I think the girls were happy that they got a couple day break from him running around and tackling them. He was running around a bit more yesterday. This morning when I filled up their bowl of water, he didn't do the usual push everyone away from the bowl thing... He actually shared! Either he's still a little drugged and icky, or taking his balls actually did something. Haven't decided yet. I guess time will tell on that one.
My classmates are looking at me funny since I type so fast. I think it's funny.

Nakey
Well I have about 20 before I have to head to class... Another blog for you!
When I was little I always liked to catch toads, lizzards, and of course; snakes! Snakes have been my most favorite animal since I was probably 3 or 4. My mom had made me a baby blanket. I eventually wore down the edges and she fixed it by sewing a shiny ribbon-like material around the edge. 3 of the corners were rounded, and the beginning/end corner was squared. I would hold the squared corner like a flared out cobra. I named that corner Ziz.
That's my only reasoning for my de-sensitization towards snakes. They're so awesome.
This one day I was playing out in the yard, or street, or whatever I was doing that day... And I found a very tiny black snake with a yellow stripe across his neck. I decided to keep it in my room, in a mysterious fish tank we had. I don't know why we had it since we never had fish... Any way...
I didn't keep the little guy too long since he was tiny and I wasn't sure what to feed him.
Today I was taking a walk around Shelly Lake, and what do I find? A tiny black snake with a yellow stripe across its neck!! Of course I was super excited since I hadn't seen one since. In fact... I don't know if I've seen any snake in the wild since then...
I put the little guy in my empty water bottle and took him back to work. I had to see what kind he was and what he ate. Ringneck Snake. Nice. Eats salamanders, earth worms, and other buggies. I don't think I could deal with something that I'd have to feed mice and what-not. ::shudder:: I like mice! I think I can deal with finding worms and bugs. Don't know how I'm going to pull off the salamander part.
After leaving work, I ran to PetSmart to buy a fish tank, moss, and a heating pad thing. We had soil from a project Brandon never went through with... So I filled the tank with that, leaving a water hole area. That part is going to need a lot more modification... Oh well.
Haven't named this guy yet. He's chillin' outside. I found him some worms to hunt. He looked very happy swimming through the soil. I'll have to put some sticks and leaves in there later. He needs more hiding spots.

Time for the percolator!
For those of you who need more to your daily blog life... Check out my work's blog: http://percolatin.blogspot.com
Yeah, buddy!
I figured out how to do the subscribing thing to friends, and what-not. I'm using Google Reader. Wasn't that hard once I looked around to figure it out =)
So class was alright last night. It was the first night first this term's M - W English class. Ms. Teacher-Lady wasn't there... The night manager gave us our assignment and we left early after finishing it. Yeah!! It was super exciting.
Now that I have readers, I'm going to have to start updating more!!! Feel free to give me topics. Maybe I'll write stories and what-not. You know what... I think I'll post my Zombie story!!!
Nevermind. I'll have to wait until I get to school. Thid computer doesn't have word on it and doesn't understand when I change the file to a .txt. Oh well. =P I'll keep trying.
